CultLab3D at the Hannover Messe HMI

From April 23 to 27, 2018, the department for Cultural Heritage Digitization is showcasing two solutions at the Hannover Messe HMI, the world’s leading fair for industrial technologies

The autonomous 3D scanner based on photogrammetry can be visited at the Fraunhofer joint booth „Digital Solutions and New Materials“ in hall 6, booth A30. The scanner can capture any unknown object with just a few shots and create a 3D color-calibrated model.

The autonomous 3D scanner based on laser technology is demonstrated at the booth of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy in hall 2, booth C28. It is suited for highly customized manufacturing processes and can capture arbitrary parts or components with just a few scans in real-time – without prior training or a CAD model as a reference.
